A young girl from the Masalmeh family contemplates the mangled steel and broken concrete left in the wake of the demolition of her home by Israeli forces on 23 February. The house, in the village of Dera, was destroyed after the girl’s father, Raed Masalmeh, stabbed and killed two Israelis in Tel Aviv last November.
